Can we replace BCM53125B0UKMMLG unmanaged for BCM53125MKMMLG managed chip?

On our board we use the unmanaged network switch chip BCM53125B0UKMMLG. Is it possible to replace this one for a managed chip BMC53125MKMMLG with same hardware around it and have it work like the unmanaged chip?

We did a chip swap already, seems not to work as we wanted.  The network connector LEDs lit green for a second, like the unmanaged chip does during start up, after that no network LEDs are lit or data is transferred.

Can someone give me some information about that?

    Thank in advance,

    Sander

    Hi Sander,
It should be doable, the BCM53125 U and  M parts are pin compatible.
Can you upload your schematic design to review? In case if any strap pin setting issue.

    Thanks,
    Ryan
