  • 1.  BMC 57412 on esxi 6.0u3

    I ordered several of those and some are not working.
    Link is detected and everything, but there is just no networking working.
    I noticed that the difference between the ones who work is the firmware.

    This is the NIC that does NOT work details:

    You can see that the NIC that works has the older firmware.

    So the question is, is this a known problem with VMware?

    You can see the driver is the latest and compatible.

    I tried upgrading the firmware to the newest from here:
    https://www.broadcom.com/products/ethernet-connectivity/network-adapters/10gb-nic-ocp/p210p

    But it doen't work, I get no supported device found..:

    Can you explain why?

    I wanted to downgrade the Firmware to the same one as in the NICs that work (20.6.135.0) but cannot find it anywhere
    Can you help me find this version?
