Tech Tip: CA UIM / Spectrum Integration - Clear Spectrum alarms in UIM

Issue:
I've recent disabled an integration between UIM and Spectrum. 

We still have a lot of left over Spectrum alarms in the UIM Console, how can I delete these? 

 
Resolution:
Alarms from Spectrum are processed via the ems probe, to permanently remove Spectrum alarms from the UIM Console you will need to do the following: 

1. Deactivate ems probe. 
2. Rename "db" sub-folder in ems probe folder (i.e. db_old). 
3. Activate ems probe. 

4. Deactivate spectrumgtw probe. 
5. Rename "cache" sub-folder in spectrumgtw probe folder (i.e. cache_old). 
6. Activate spectrumgtw probe.
