The integration of the Jaspersoft Report Server with Identity Manager starts on pg 31 of the PDF. The first step is to configure the Report Server Connection, covered on pp 31-33. The second step is to configure the Snapshot Database Connection, covered on pp 33-34. Verification of the first two steps is covered in pp 33-37. These steps apply to using the OOTB reports, using snapshots taken from the IDM Object Store.

Generating Audit Reports requires additional configuration. I updated the PDF previously shared to cover those steps. I will upload the updated PDF as soon as I can.
