At CA, we strive to provide clear information about when product versions reach the end of their support periods. Surprises and emergency upgrade events are certainly an undesirable experience.
Currently, the end of service (EOS) announcements for our Agile Operations products are posted on support.ca.com. Historically, we have not issued EOS announcements sooner than one year after the GA announcement, and have typically provided even longer advanced notice.
Now, we would like to give you even better predictability of the EOS date for newly released versions and unify the EOS announcement experience across the CA product portfolio.
We plan to announce the EOS dates for future releases alongside the GA announcement. This will provide the best possible predictability about the supported lifecycle of a given version and enable our customers and partners to plan their upgrades with improved visibility.
You will see more EOS announcements during this year for previous releases, followed by EOS date alongside the next GA announcement for most Agile Operations products.
