CA Spectrum mandates to convert Archive Manager Distributed Data Manager (DDM) database engine from MyISAM to InnoDB before upgrading to 10.4 for better performance. CA Spectrum 10.3 and above supports InnoDB engine for DDM database.
Refer the doc for converting DDM database engine from MyISAM to InnoDB https://docops.ca.com/ca-spectrum/10-3-0/en/installing-and-upgrading/upgrading#Upgrading-PostUpgradeTasks
After conversion use ddm_save.pl & ddm_load.pl which uses MySQL Enterprise Backup solution to take backup and restore DDM database for better performance. These utilities are supported from CA Spectrum 10.3.1 and above.
Note: Classic utilities for saving /restoring DDM DB (ddm_save, ddm_load & ddm_backup ) will not be supported from CA Spectrum 10.4
