Any questions out there today?
from Colleen Doyle (CA Edu) to Everyone:
Check out the latest course from CA Education - CA Privileged Access Manager 2.7.x: Advanced Topics 300
http://marketplace.ca.com/education/04pim3001s.html
from Brenda Godfrey to Everyone:
What type of functionality can we expect for account and password management for accounts connected to PIM stored in an LDAP directory, connected with the custom connector express tool?
from Brenda Godfrey to Everyone:
i.e. will it synch password changes entered via PIM to the backend LDAP directory, and any of its own internal password policy settings (e.g. pwd history, complexity policies, expiry) or is it only enforced at the front-end within PIM and not at the back-end (LDAP directory)
from Brenda Godfrey to Everyone:
Any new, recent PIM course offerings available?
from Colleen Doyle (CA Edu) to Everyone:
@Brenda, unfortunately we don't have any new courses for PIM at the moment.
from Warren Miller (CA) to Everyone:
@Susie, we are finishing up a document on managing passwords for users in an LDAP directory. What we doucmented is managing passwords for LDAP users considered to be privileged in an Oracle Directory Server Enterprise Edition using the inetOrgPerson schema.
from Xuemei Chen to Everyone:
Hi, is there a way to get the related records for a user based on this/her role directly from Database?
from Steven McCullar to Everyone:
@Xuemei Chen, which product? What type of data are you looking for?
from Xuemei Chen to Everyone:
It is PIM. I wouls like to pull for example all endpoints and accounts this use can access.
from Steven McCullar to Everyone:
@Xuemeir Chen, which version of PIM are you using?
from Tiffanie Willis-Bradley to Everyone:
we are using 12.9
from Warren Miller (CA) to Everyone:
@Susie, I suggest asking Chris Stuhlmueller to coordinate getting the LDAP document for you.
from Michael Dullea to Everyone:
Hi @Xuemei Chen - PIM has a reporting tool, CA Business Intelligence that you can use in 12.9. In addition, we're also working on an updated document for 12.9 to describe the underlying reporting tables that you can leverage if you want to use an external reporting tool.
from Xuemei Chen to Everyone:
What the estimate time will be for updated document?
from Michael Dullea to Everyone:
Hi @Xuemei Chen - I don't have that date available yet. I will get it and communicate back to you.
from Xuemei Chen to Everyone:
Thanks.
