With 2.4 the engineering team has added a host evaluation feature. This feature does the following ....
- Evaluates the target host to ensure it meets minimum requirements as specified in the Sizer guide
- Executed during the install of DA, DC, DR and PC
Minimum requirements are as follows:
DA: 16 GB RAM, 2 CPUs, Port 61616 is free
DC: 12 GB RAM, 2 CPUs
DR: 16 GB RAM, 2 CPUs
PC: 16 GB RAM, 4 CPUs
Here is an example failure:
The failure is informational, and will not prevent the install from continuing. However, if you see a failure, it is strongly advised that you consult the sizing guide and make the recommended changes to your system. Doing so, will allow the environment to function at an optimal level
