There will be no impact to older releases if you don't upgrade JRE. But if you did then you wont be able to open OneClick.

But could you please explain a little bit more, what does this mean for us users?

Will the usage of older spectrum versions become complete impossible with the announced new JRE versions?

(I don't know, which jars are MD5 signed.)
