Tech Tip: Login to UMP fails with a user that has been new created in Infrastructure Manager

Problem:

Users created in Infrastructure Manager are not able to login to UMP

Environment:

UIM 8.x UMP 8.x

Cause:

User that are created with uppercase characters in the user name are not able to login to UMP.

Workaround:

Create users with lowercase characters in Infrastructure Manager to be able to login to the UMP.

Also make sure to close the user creation window to save configuration, before login to ump.
