Hi, All,

Following up on a few questions:

  1. DevTest user passwords do not expire.
  2. DevTest Administrators can set/reset user passwords using the DevTest ACL, and security/LDAP admins can set/reset domain passwords when using LDAP integration.
  3. Permissions are set on a per-user basis.
  4. It is best to change the default passwords and assign individual user accounts to each person, instead of all using the same account (e.g., admin).
  5. Each user can install DevTest Workstation or access the DevTest Portal from his/her local desktop. It is not necessary to have users sharing a remote desktop to minimize the number of Workstations.
  6. In local.properties, the registry.max.user.lifetime.seconds property specifies the session lifetime (how long a user session is valid after the last activity) before signing a user out. You can increase or decrease this value to allow users to stay logged in longer while idle, or get kicked out sooner, to minimize the number of concurrent sessions.

Thanks for joining!
