Also, if you experience the "Hex string" problem.  This is where the APM alert detail appears as incomprehensible to hex.  You can fix it by disablign the raw parameter...  to do this..

 

Hold down Shift..

Right Click on the probe config

Select "Raw Configure"

Change the "Vairables to Hex" from yes to no...
