A financial manager can now view Financials tab in the new user experience of CA PPM. This is available under Projects as part of the 15.3 release. You can view cost plans in a grid to compare and analyze various costs like planned cost, actual cost, forecast cost etc. of a cost plan. The grid view also lets you reorder, sort and filter columns, just like an excel sheet.
Another cool feature is that you can now view the detailed transactions behind any actual cost or aggregated cost of a cost plan. This is a one-click access where you don’t have to navigate away from the current cost plan, unlike the classic PPM. You can click any actual cost (appears as a hyperlink) to view the Transactions Review page.
