The releases beyond the current quarter are all "guidance" and hence we refrain from "sending" or "sharing" those artifacts as-is.

Our auditors are a lot more stringent, given some of the accounting implications and hence there is heightened sensitivity across the board.

Has that policy changed over the past months or year? In previous webcasts and other presentations the future releases were mentioned with the quarter they were planned for. I know that this level of detail was not shown in resent presentations, but I thought that was because of covering multiple products in limited time.

Stuart, which is fine, but as I said we would still want to stick to the CA Corporate standards and guidelines. This way we are procedure compliant.

There are some strict guidelines about this for us internally. When the roadmaps are shared on webcasts, future releases (unless in the current quarter) are called as "planned" and with no committed date per se. We could add some color in our commentary, but the formal reference has to be the external roadmap on the support site.

Hi Kiran,

This information is based on what can be publicly found within the community. So it has been mentioned here by someone (it could even be you) and is not too hard to find. I can change or remove the release date information for 9.5 but I would like to keep the release numbers with project name and the service packs which are planned. Since they have been mentioned in public, I think this is a good place to put them in context. Can we leave the 9.3 H02 quarter indication, or should that be removed too?

Thanks,

Michiel

These tables were based on the tables Wikipedia uses for similar software packages, which includes information already publicly released about future versions.

Hi Michiel,

For future releases, we have some guidance from our CA Legal teams. We cannot talk about the quarters and so our external roadmap does not call it out as well. The best we could do is call out Spectrum 9.5 (Churchill) as "Planned for 2015".

Having said that I would refrain from calling out the future versions in this table completely. We could add a link to the external approved roadmap deck from our legal and finance teams, on the support site.

Spectrum 9.1.x is already EOS

Spectrum 9.2.x will be EOS in April 2015

We have announced any EOS plans for 9.3.x yet.
