You can quickly see which work items have entered the CD pipeline and assess risks to timely delivery. By comparing work item statuses with commit messages from your source control, you can pick up on anomalies such as work items which have been completed but are not marked as done in the Agile tracking tool you use, such as Agile Central or JIRA.
