    I am having issues with NCM not creating a new capture, but just overwriting the existing one.

    Hi Spencer,

    Please provide the following information:

    Spectrum release?
    Is the problem with one specific device? (if yes, vendor & model of the device)
    When did you first notice this problem?
    If any error, screenshot?

    Spectrum Release: 21.2.10.0.248

    It is the first test with NCM on Cisco ASA 5515

    No error is happening.   

    I change the config on the device and try to pull a new config and it just overwrites the original.    The original capture date stays the same but the confirmed date changes.    The changes made to the config are now in the NCM but it never creates a new line or entry for a new config.

    Hi Adams,

    As per my knowledge, as long as the device configuration is same on the device, it won't change anything under Host Configuration tab of that device. 
    It will just update the Last Verified Time.
