Returning value from external code to Policy Xpress

In Policy Xpress, I created Action Rules with Category: External Codes. I am able to execute the external code. However, I need to know, if I can return value from the externalcode, to be then used by Policy Xpress logic. The external code is generating a String value,

This is not supported.
You will need to create your own mechanism such as having your code writing
to a table and query this table via another PX.
