Some of you have noticed the existence of a new field in your Portfolio Item details view called:
Refined Work Estimate Count Estimate
Don't be alarmed, there are no new features accidentally leaked or alterations to anything that you've been doing up to this point. You are seeing this because it is a precursor to the upcoming release of our "Estimation By Count in Capacity Planning" feature; tentatively scheduled to be available on October 9th.
In order for us to build the new feature set, we needed this field added to our data model first. By virtue of how attributes are propagated from our model into the UI/API, it was not tenable for us to be able to keep this attribute available internally but hidden externally in our customary manner (feature toggles).
We apologize for any confusion this has created. We assure you that the field does not affect any current operations and is safe to use both now and in the future.
