  • 1.  Proxy Configuration at Node Level

    Hi Team,

We are using a single proxy to connect all the policies from Layer 7 to Internet. If we need to update the proxy details we need to manually edit the all the policies so we are looking for any in built feature.
Can you please let us know if Broadcom have any inbuilt feature to configure the proxy details on node level instead of updating in each policy?

    Thanks,

    Hello DivyaSai,

I don't have an exact answer for your question . However you can consider below approach

    1. Define Proxy Host & Port in Cluster Wide Property & user these properties in your Policies . With this you just need to update the property when ever these is a change to the proxy
    2. User Policy Fragments to define routing logic
    Thanks

    Hi Suhas,

    Thanks for your suggestion.

I was able to update the proxy details in the routing logic dynamically by fetching from the cluster wide properties but was looking for any inbuilt feature.

We have raised a ticket with Broadcom and got to know there is no global setting or file that can be configured at a node level to specify a proxy host to use within a route via http assertion so we are going to use the same approach you have suggested.
