  • 1.  How can I tell is a person is logged in?

Is there a way to tell if a person is logged into Rally at a certain time?  I can see the last login date on the user profile, but was wondering if there was a way to tell if the person was logged in right now.

We sometimes get questions from teammates that they can't log in. When I look at the profile, I can see that they have logged in today, but then I can't tell if they are still logged or if they were logged out immediately.  I have seen that sometimes people don't have access to any teams or that they may be having a problem with SSO and the last login date updates, but they never actually logged in.

I know this is confusing, but it happened this morning, a teammate sent us an e-mail that they can't log in, but I can see today was last login.

    Hi Sheila,

Unfortunately at this time Rally can not sure who is logged in, but only the last time a person did login (whether or not they're active still). This can be a very good enhancement request in fact and I'll recommend you post it.

    Thanks,
    Sagi

    Hi Sheila,

Support is able to and happy to look at the log files and get a sense of what the person is doing in the application, so please feel free to open a support case for any assistance you might need with this!
