Difference between Wily and DX APM

Hi Team

I am a newbie to Broadcom tools. just would like to clarify whether both the CA WILY & DX APM are same or not?

Also, Please let me know the process to get the access for demo environment of this tool.

Wily Technologies was the name of the original company before it was purchased by Computer Associates (later CA Technologies) in 2005, then Broadcom in 2018.

Introscope was rebranded as APM (Application Performance Management) starting with version 9. You'll hear us call APM v10.x "APM Classic" to differentiate it from our next-generation platform, DX (Digital Experience) SAAS. DX SAAS is available as a subscription service or deployed on-premise in a Kubernetes or OpenShift environment. DX Platform consists of APM, AXA (App Experience Analytics), BPA (Business Payload Analyzer), and OI (Operational Intelligence).

As a customer, you will need to talk with your Broadcom Account Director or reseller as to what you're entitled to. You can also check the support site, https://support.broadcom.com for your entitlements. You will need to make sure your SiteID is attached to your Broadcom login profile to use the support site, which also require approval by someone from your company to use the SiteID.

Deploying APM Classic can be done with a single VM, but for better performance you will want at least two VMs to setup a small cluster.

Deploying DX Platform is way more complicated and requires a lot of hardware since it requires you to have a K8S or OpenShift cluster to deploy to. You will want to consider paying for a Services engagement if want to do this.
