    Hello experts,
Can any one explain what is the use of Alarm Acknowledge in Spectrum? Does it send any notification to any one?

We didn't find much information about Alarm Acknowledged. When we acknowledge the alarm it is just showing tick in the alarm. May be it has some other functionality also. If any one knows please respond.

It means that someone (NOC most probably) knows about the alarm and possibly it's doing some operations to solve it. That is the purpose of acknowledgment of alarms, as the name says.

It should be used on NOCs, as filtering criteria, to decide which active alarms are not being handled by operators and should be next in line for troubleshooting and solving.

    Hi @Purneswara Rao Konda,

in addition to @Catalin Farcasanu's post: depending on some appropriate Notifier setup, the acknowledgement action might trigger some addtional action, as it does update the alarm. Therefore, anything you configure your Notifiers to do, might be initiated by the acknowledgement action.
