How to create optimized assets in CA Agile Requirements Designer and allocate them to JIRA

Oct 31, 2016 07:55 AM

A short, technical demonstration of the connectivity between CA Agile Requirements Designer and JIRA. This integration combines all the benefits of JIRA’s project management platform with optimized test case and requirements design, eliminating the delays of manual creation and maintenance. Learn how existing JIRA instances can be interrogated from within CA Agile Requirements designer, before importing issues via the rich text exporter. This accelerates the process of converting existing JIRA assets into unambiguous, “active” flowcharts.

Custom mapping further means that as much information as possible can be imported, while optimized assets can be exported back out to existing JIRA configurations. The flowchart can be exported as a requirement or Epic, while all the stories needed to deliver at the requirement can be generated and allocated in JIRA. At the same time, all the test cases needed to validate that the functionality has been successfully delivered can be created and allocated. If a change is made to the flowchart, the test cases and stories can be updated automatically, and synchronized with JIRA.
