The attached document describes the steps to get from various versions of Xceedium software up to the latest version, in this case 2.6.2. It is important that the document be followed, in order to avoid certain problems. Yesterday, a customer installed a certificate on a CA PAM 2.6 and the system became unavailable after the reboot. This was the problem for which Engineering created the JAR Version Renaming patch. The fix it contains is included in CA PAM 2.6.2. Installing either of these patches before installing the certificate, or even doing a reboot, would have avoided this problem.
You are correct. It should probably be deleted, and I will look into how to do that. In the meantime, check the PAM wiki for the details on upgrading to a particular version. Here is a link to the Upgrade Paths section of the 3.2 wiki: 3.0.x and 3.1.x Releases - CA Privileged Access Manager - 3.2 - CA Technologies Documentation. On the left hand side are links for various versions of Xsuite and then PAM. Click on the one that matches the version to which you wish to upgrade. You may have to review several, if you are on very old software and want to get to the latest.
This seems to be obsolete.
