Recycling the MOM fixed our issue. very strange.

The dashboard you try to edit is in Domain?
have you create metrics grouping and alerts in the same domain you are trying to edit dashboard?
do you have problem will all the dashboards in this cluster or this is the only one having problem?
what version of APM you are using?
