On behalf of CA Technologies, we appreciate your business and the opportunity to provide you with innovative software and services. As part of our ongoing commitment to customer success, we regularly release updated versions of our products.

Today, we are pleased to announce that a new version of CA Application Performance Management (CA APM) Connector for
CA Service Operations Insight (CA SOI) have been updated and is now available from the CA Service Operations Insight Connectors page.

Details of the new CA Application Performance Management (CA APM) Connector 3.1.0 :

    • Context URL links redirects to CA APM web view.
In the Operation Console, when you select a service in the Navigation pane and click an alert in the Alerts tab, two Web Context URL links - Dashboard Link and Alert Link - appear. Click the links to view the CA APM web view. The Dashboard Link appears only if you provide the dashboard name during SNMP Plugin Configuration. However, some special characters in the configuration may prevent redirection of URL.
    • Custom Service attribute in CA APM appears as service in CA SOI.
When you create and configure Attribute Rules in CA APM, connector publishes it as service in CA SOI. However, you need to configure the connector configuration file.

    • Custom attribute defined in CA APM appears as attribute in CA SOI.
When a custom attribute was defined for the Business Transaction or Running Software type in the Map of Team Center, CA APM connector publishes it as user-defined attributes in CA SOI according to the mapping provided in the connector configuration file. However, you need to configure the connector configuration file.

The Release Note and documentation are available from the Wiki based product documentation.
