Sebastian,
Good evening. When the patch file is upload through the ssgconfig menu, the gateway uploads a copy in the /opt/SecureSpan/Controller/var/patches directory along with another temporary directory. The main files to focus on are in the patches directory. For each L7P patch file uploaded there are 3 files created with the extension .lck, .status, and .L7P. To clear the patch from the gateway record remove all 3 files for the problematic release. As a good measure for all other releases it is recommended to remove the L7P files so that the status is retained but the file space is reclaimed.
If a problem does occur, support will need to get a copy of the /opt/SecureSpan/Gateway/node/default/var/logs/ssg.log, /opt/SecureSpan/Controller/var/logs/sspc.log, and /opt/SecureSpan/Controller/var/log/patches.log files to help assistance with troubleshooting.
Sincerely,
Stephen Hughes
