Is there any way to identify the engine/bg displayed in the page "process engines" or CSA/NSA with the service in the Linux/Unix OS?

From the OS side using the command "service status all", its is possible see a PID identifier, which curiously doesn't correspond the linux PID but the PPID (Parent Process Id), in theory it should be enough  but it is not the first time that stopping other service than previously listed with service, the engine displayed in web is stopped.

Is there any information hidden in the long string name displayed in action:bpm.pe.processEngines?

    thanks

Something in your setup isn't right.  It can't resolve your server host name which is why it throwing in that encoded value for the name.

It should look something like this:

Then, if I had a second bg it would be bg2-thor

From the Linux side there is a bg.pid in the bin directory.

That is a text file with the running pid.  If you have a bg2.pid there will be a bg2.pid

    Thanks,

Yes, I agree but there are a bg.pid and a bg2.pid containing the PID of the servicebgcmd and the servicebg2cmd services.

    BTW Linux hostname is clarityprod
