  • 1.  V12.3.0 AWI behavior question (ProcessMonitoring)

We implemented V12.3.0 this weekend and are discovering we can't always count on the AWI hierarchical view in ProcessMonitoring to function as desired.

For instance I can have a schedule object open to list what is active, go into "Open Monitor" for one of its active tasks, navigate back to ProcessMonitoring, and it will tell me "no child tasks" even though I just accessed one of his currently active tasks.  I then close/open that schedule to cause it to refresh and show my active tasks again.

Do others have this same experience?   (I'm about to open a support ticket, but wanted to collect info from the community first.)

    Our AWI version:
    Automic Web Interface 12.3.0.hf3-dev-feature-12.3.0-hf.3-92616

    Pete:

Oregon State University is seeing that too, and has already opened a ticket on this.

Can't hurt to open your own though... :)

    Hi Pete,
Same here on my desktop but i was not able to reproduce on my collegues PC.
We use the same baseline on our PC's and have the same version of Chrome.

I found out that clearing the browsers cache would sometimes correct those strange behaviours but it's not a guarabteed fix.

    Yes.

I filed a report for that exact same thing in a closed beta forum.

I have yet to receive any reply.

    Br,

(edit: oh, and we can repliably reproduce it, has nothing to do with caching for us).

My lead operator last night reported that if she opens ProcessMonitoring as a separate tab and asks that tab to do nothing but run the hierarchical display, it seems to do the right thing.   Hope this workaround works for others as well.

I have opened a support ticket.
