  • 1.  How to Clear Sysview's LIFETIME Alerts in Spectrum?

    We set up the LIFETIME metric to monitor some CICS transactions. When the transaction exceeds the defined Threshhold, an alert is sent to the Spectrum, however, when the transaction ends, the alert remains active in Spectrum and we have to perform manual clearing at all times.

     

    Below is an example of the LIFETIME metric set up in our environment.

    Hi Felix, 

    When the transaction ends, can you send a notification to Spectrum?  If so, you can configure that notification to clear the alarm.  If not, then you can either configure Spectrum to autoclear the alarm after a certain time:

    Or you could create an event rule to essentially do the same thing if you need further parameters to trigger on (instead of just time).
