    This is a very basic question.

     

    We have a requirement to lock a user account after 4 incorrect password attempts.

     

    I am aware of SM password policy configuration where this can be achieved. But we also have to provide a value (time in minutes) after which the account will be re-enabled. how to avoid this and get the account locked till there is manual intervention.

    If I remember correctly, setting a value of "0" (zero) means that the account will never be re-enabled in your scenario. I.e. manual intervention is required.
