  • 1.  AD User not able to login Catalog and USS

    Hi, recently we where changed one user  ID from Prthomas1 to prthomas in Active directory. in normal case before making the changes he was able to login service desk and catalog and USS but after changing the user id he is not able login catalog and uss the same time he is able to login the service desk. can any one help me to troubleshoot this.

    Hi Praveen,

    how did you you tell the MDB that the user's name has changed? If you edited it in SDM (or the MDB's ca_contact table directly) then Catalog won't know; a user with Catalog administrator rights should edit them in Administration > Users.

    Hi Praveen, 
    Did you restart Catalog and USS after the change? If not, please try that.
    If the issue remains,  it would be helpful to check the view.log from Catalog and the liferay log from USS when having the issue, and compare them with the values in ca_contact table.
