    Hi,

    Looking for a CA Release Automation user who configured SSO successfully.
    Documentation is not straight forward and we are unable to set it right.

    Any input would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Avi

    Hi Avi,
    From most of the support cases we've seen - the problems have stemmed from a configuration setting that either:
    a. wasn't split across two different lines. Specifically, the documentation has the following on one line:

    ra.security.profile=saml ra.security.saml.metadata.entity-base-url=http://ratesting:8443/datamanagement

    But it should be:

    ra.security.profile=saml
    ra.security.saml.metadata.entity-base-url=http://ratesting:8443/datamanagement

    b. I've also seen where one or more of the lines for those configuration settings did not have a properly formatted newline for that platform (i.e. \r vs \r\n). This specific problem manifested itself in a way that prevented the RA Mgmt server from properly starting. On linux this can be seen by running: cat -vet distributed.properties. On windows I believe you can view this in notepad++ with the View menu -> Show Symbol -> Show End of Line.

    I hope one of these help.

    Kind regards,
    Gregg
