  • 1.  Localisation of siteminder login page

    HI

    I have an issue where the user somewhere in Europe when tries to access gets a localized login page . I am using siteminderagent\smpwservices.fcc in my authscheme, I have also tried using \login.fcc but still in both cases I cannot get the login page to be displayed in English language across other european regions. In my login.fcc file I have both these entries

    Used to determine the language used in the HTML forms that collect user information or display status messages.

    The value that is paired with smlocale corresponds to part of the name of a localization properties file. The localization properties file contains IDs mapped to text strings in the specified language.

    smlocale values have the following format:

    COUNTRY-LANGUAGE

    For example, the value for smlocale for United States English is:

    SMLOCALE=US-EN

    smenc

    Contains information that tells the browser what language encoding to use. Changing the default value for this variable overrides the encoding set in the following META tag:

    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;charset=ISO-8859-1">

    I want to make this work with smpwservices preferably, any help on this really appreciated.

    Thanks and Regards

    KP

    Hi KP,

    Have you followed following documentation on the localization setting?

    CA SiteMinder® Integrated Documents 12.52 SP1

    There are couple of things involved:

    - Localization ACO parameter

    - set preferred locale

    - Define the order

    Hope this helps.
