  • 1.  Is there a way to pre-define filters on Dashboards?

    Hello,

I am working on the Jaspersoft dashboards. If you are using a pre-made report on the dashboard, such as capacity vs. demand, you are able to add filters to apply to this report. However, when I add the report the default filter for the report investment status is unapproved. Is there a way to pre-define the filters and set them so the user will not have to do that manually every time?

    Thank you,

    Christina

    Hi Christina

As far as I know, you cannot save filters for dashboards but what you can do is save the filter for the report and access it directly. When you save your filter choices, you can right click on the filter name from repository, choose run in new tab, and copy the URL. There after you can access these predefined choices directly at any time.

I hope this solved your problem
