Last Friday, we announced the GA of UIM Connector v3.5.0.123
This connector release is a milestone, where we are demonstrating unrelenting focus on quality, stability and customer value.
Not only did external customers participate in the validation/beta, our field and support teams gave valuable inputs and feedback to steer the quality in the right direction.
This releases incorporates some key suggestions and feedback from customers for the connector – making it more flexible and easier to use. Below is the list of key features that are part of this release:
- Enhanced Correlation for devices managed by UIM and other monitoring products
- CI flooding caused by UIM Logmon probe towards SOI prevented now
- All alerts are mapped to the respective CI for that profile
- Improved handling of CIs for log monitoring
- CI flooding caused by UIM Logmon probe towards SOI prevented now

- Option to define automatic start of Connector service after install, upgrade introduced
- When database is restarted, connector connects automatically
- Improved CI mapping for disk drives
- Improved performance for the UIM connector while extracting data from UIM towards SOI
- Mapping of Origin Property of CI introduced
