  • 1.  Change psw of Nimbus user on IBMi

    Hello,

    We have a robot deployed on IBMi series but, we lost the password of the Nimbus user.
    Can we change the psw without to have some problem with the robot?

    Hi Oswaldo,

    I think you are asking about Nimbus Sevice account. Not a UIM/Nimbus user account. Which OS is running on your IBM and is it using an account other then root or Local Administrator. Is that what you are asking?

    Hi Gregg,
    The AS 400 OS version is 5.73. I have a NIMBUS user in AS400 

    I think this user was created when the robot was installed over the AS400. If i change the psw, can i have any problem with the robot?

    Yikes, I actually did install a robot on an as400...about 10 years ago. Sorry I do not remember much about it. Hope fully this doc and others will help you answer your question.
