  • 1.  How to solve problem in probe after HP3PAR update ?

    I am having problems after HP3PAR Firmware update, the probe does not read the metrics, I updated the probe to version 1.24 more now it does not work anymore.
    the log is attached.
    @HP3PAR is 3.3.1.410

    HPE_3PAR 8200 in snapshot does not seem in the certified HP 3PAR list for the probe

    Supported HP 3PAR Versions
    The probe is certified on the following HP 3PAR versions:

    HP 3PAR INServ F200
    HP 3PAR StoreServ 7400, 7440, 8440

     

    Can check to raise an enhancement request for support of your  hp 3par model

    My question here is: how did you guys get the probe to work with the HP 3PAR 8200?  With us, the profiles keep getting in error state and support states that this version of 3PAR is not supported at all.

    I've pointed to this topic in my support case to somehow get this hotfix of the probe, but it seems the hotfix is not available anymore?

    Does anyone have any more information about this?

    also you have to make sure port 22 is open for ssh
    from your log
    com.nimsoft.ssh.SshConnectException: Failed to create connection to x.x.x.x:22

    Thanks David, everything is working like a charm now.

    Maybe it's a good idea to make this HF general available? Because this adds support for the 8200 series.
