    Hi,

I have to apply patch RO69436 (ALL-WCC R11.3.5 INCREMENTAL 2 Fix) on an environment. This patch requires SDK to be on INCR2.

When I checked there several packages with SDK on its name.

    On Scheduler server

    lsm -l | grep -i SDK

    PIF      ca-cs-sdk-cmp                  11.2.08100.0         Linux

    RPM      ca-cs-em-sdk                   11.2.08236           Linux

    RPM      ca-unicenter-jmo-sdk           11.2.07267           Linux

    RPM      ca-waae-sdk                    11.3.5

    autoflags –a

    546 LINUX ORA 11.3.5 INCR2 418615b8 cbylxdajs1.uk.avon.com cbylxdajs1

    On WCC server

    lsm -l | grep -i SDK

    RPM      ca-waae-sdk                    11.3.5               linux

    PIF      CAWorkloadAutomationAE-SDK     11.3.5.408           Linux

    autoflags -a

    546 LINUX UNK 11.3.5 INCR2 14ac8e1d cbylxdwcc1 cbylxdwcc1

I guess as we have SDK on INCR2 (autoflags output) so we should be fine in terms of prerequisite.

Do you know the best way to confirm we are on SDK INCR2?

Do you also know the purpose of all SDK packets?

Some of them are within RMP and other within PIF. Is there any difference with this?

    thanks

    José

WCC uses WAAE SDK to interact. As per autoflags output, you have the pre-requisite INCR2 already.

    Hi Chandru,

thanks for your answer and confirming we have INCR2 on SDK.

But I would also wanted to know why so many different entries for SDK runnng lsm command and if there is any difference between pif and rpm

CAWorkloadAutomationAE-SDK  PIF is the CA proprietary compressed format which the installer extracts and installs the ca-waae-sdk RPM (on Linux).

What is PIF here, and what is stranded for?
What is difference b/w RPM and PIF here?

    Hi Jose,

Please share an update on this. Have you been able to patch the WAAE/WCC yet?

    Hi,

I just applied yesterday the change and it seems fine.

I am waiting 24 more hours to ensure all is fine.

    Best regards.
