Just idle musings:
It does sound legit: When Microsofts marketing folk were jealous of EMACS version numbers, they went from version 2 of Word to version 6 as well.
I wonder though: Hasn't '20 progressed already rather far? With the next release being scheduled for pretty much end of October, one needs to hope there is no delay. Otherwise, we'd be seeing '20 in '21 ...?
Also, isn't the trend with semantic versioning to name things based on year and month (like Ubuntu and many others do)? Really should be 20.10 then, not 20.0 ...
And how about the legacy of UC4? Maybe we can call it Automic 4/20? :D

Subject: Automic Automation 20
The next version of Automic Automation* will be version 20, consistent with Broadcom's plan to assign version numbers based on the release year.
[Documentation link removed because it came to my attention that the link was removed in the OP, and it doesn't propagate through quoted responses, but I am a nice person.]
