    Hi,

    We were using ITCM tool for Asset Management, Software Delivery and Remote Control. Now we want to deploy the patch through ITCM. When we accept the patch on EM Web Console then there is showing "Packaging Failed". Status getting change Pending User Acceptance-> Accepted-> Packaging-> Packaging Failed. Right Side in Action tab Test, Approve, Deploy option is Disable.

    Anone can help us on this ?

    You need to check the Patch Manager log file to get the real cause of the failure.

    I have the same problem, and on the Patch Manager Log we have:

    Broadcom recently (17th June) seemed to move the contentupdate.ca.com service to new Broadcom hosting with new IP addressing.  Has ftp.ca.com also been moved - I suspect so.  If your system is relying on IP addressing either in your ITCM config or in any firewall/gateway to the Internet then you may have continued failures to package items from ftp.ca.com.
