Can CA application and DB run on different platforms .

  • 1.  Can CA application and DB run on different platforms .

    Customer is moving from oracle to microsoft sql , currently ca application is running on linux . 
    Is it required that we move application to windows too as the sql db is going to be on windows?
    Or
    Can application be on linux and db on windows platform .

    There is no need. It should work with this combination of application and database as well.
