ITCM Reporter - Logon Credentials

If I launch ITCM Explorer and am logged into the Windows workstation as a user w/o rights, it will popup the logon dialog box and allow me to logon with different credentials.

 

ITCM Reporter does not.  Instead, the reporter launches, but w/ errors and there is no connection made.

Is there a way to define logon credentials or have a logon dialog box for the reporter?

Hi,

 

As workaround, you can run [runas /user:administrator dsmreporter.exe] on command prompt.

If you create shortcut with above command, you just input admin password to open DSM Reporter.

I am afraid there is no way to make the reported prompt for credentials so the only solution is to use the command line and runas as Yas has already advised.

Please do raise this as an idea if it is something you would like to see changed.
