    Hello community

    I have created an email template with the objective of notifying users that self-register on the platform as well as those created by a user already registered.

    The self-registration task as well as the creation task have an approval flow configured. The purpose of this email is to notify the selected manager at the time of self-registration or creation of the user about the assigned pending task.

    The error occurs because the email is generated when the manager approves the flow and not when the user self-registers or initiates the creation process, as a result the end user receives 2 emails on the same date and time in which it is reported that the application is being valued and immediately receives the creation confirmation email and initial password

    In the events configured to send the mail are those described in the following image


    Some idea for this?

    Is there an actual error occurring or is the issue that the user receives two emails?  If they are receiving two emails but without any error, have you tried moving the mail on the CreateUserEvent to occur later, when the event completes?

    Currently the two emails are fine, the problem is that these emails are sent at the same time when the application is approved, then I will try to explain the cases of use

    During the self registration, the first email must be sent, this email must be sent to the user who registered and to the selected manager notifying that there is a self registration request pending evaluation. This email is not being sent until the event is approved

    The second email must be sent when the boss evaluates the request and is approved. This can happen a long time after the self-registration. this email is sent correctly

    Some idea for this issue?

    Did you try creating a policy xpress policy, sending the e-mail on the submitted task instead of the event-based on self-register user event?  I think you can do this on the e-mail template... when to send, task submitted -- self registration.  That should kick off the e-mail as soon as the task is submitted vs. waiting for the approval.
