Purging inactive Contacts and groups.

Hi Team,

We want to create rule for purging inactive contacts and groups  in CA SDM. 
I have tried making rule but didn't know what to select for Configuration Object Name in creating rule.
Can you please help me regarding this so that i am able to purge inactive data from SDM.

Hi Bhaktatwa,

There is no OOTB way to archive\purge contacts and groups. One of the challenges with these two objects is that they relations\references to so many tables. So before a contact\group can be purged it has to be dismantled from the referencing tables.

Check if there is an Idea (Enhancement Request) already and add your comments and vote for it. If one does not exist, create one for consideration.

The SDM archive/purge tool does not support any record type with a UUID as its key.
