  • 1.  Integration between UIM DXI and SOI on premise

    Hello Team,

    I should configure the integration between UIM in SaaS (IM DXI) and SOI on premise, using UIM connector.

    Is it possible? Is there anyone who has already done it?

    Any suggestions is appreciated.

    Hi Claudio,

     

    I understand this question has already been asked in the CA UIM Community.

     

    Answer from the Question in UIM Community:

     

    If you are able to install a robot on a server outside of Saas to connect to your primary hub. If this is the case you can install the UIM connector on this robot to be able to retreive the Alarms from the Catalyst Alarm Queue on the primary hub and the CIs from the UIM database and publish the data into SOI. However, we were not sure if this had been tested or supported. No mention in the following docs:

    You confirmed that you discussed this with Product Management, they confirmed this is not supported OOTB and hasn't been tested. I suggest moving this Question to the type of Discussion, as I understand your looking for any customers or CA Services colleagues that may have already implemented this integration.

     

    Also, have you tested this in a UIM DXI - SOI on Prem environment? If so, did you run into issues?
