Reducing perl script execution time

SiteMinder SDK - Perl script execution that involves even a minor policy change is taking more than 3 minutes. Is there a reason why it takes that much time? Is there anything that could be done to reduce the execution time?

Hi Raja,

 

Is this only linked to Perl SDK or in general any changes from Admin UI is also slow ?

We need to first figure out if this is client (SDK) issue or server (policy server) side issue.

 

I would suggest capturing policy server trace for any simple operation using PERL SDK and analyse if the delay is actually coming from PS side.
