Role Based Access will Allow users to Modify Dashboards Created by Others in 21.2.6 release

We have heard this ask from many of you, as a NetOps Portal Administrator you would like the ability to assign user rights/privilege's that enable different members of my team, depending upon their role, to be able to modify dashboards and reports created by an administrator. 

 

In upcoming 21.2.6 release, we are happy to introduce the enhancement whereby an administrator can enable others (admins and Operators) the ability to modify the dashboards or Reports created by the Admin as well as copy those dashboard/report templates.

 

This will enable other members of your team copy “My Dashboards” and Report Templates and modify as needed.  With the correct role/rights, this reduces the dependency of one person to manage and modify dashboards and reports.

What about edit Dashboards  made by others in that role?

We have people making dashboards that need to be adjusted by other members of their teams.

Robert, yes, setting up the permissions will enable editing by other members of the team.
