Search server is no longer a separate install.
Since it is installed with xFlow, then the OS supportability for xFlow would apply.

Servus Peter,
I also have no problems with search server on windows 2016 in my own vm. The question is whether Windows 2012 is really the only supported platform. I hoped that someone from Broadcom could answer my question through this community.
kind regards,
Armin

Servus Armin,
I'm running searchserver under 2016 at a customer's env and in my vmware.
It is working there as fare as I can see.
BUT I think that this should be answered by CA broadcom.
I would open a CASE for it.
Regards,
Peter

Hi,
techdocs for CA Service Management 17.3 specifies that the only supported Windows Server version by Search Server is Windows 2012.
See https://techdocs.broadcom.com/content/broadcom/techdocs/us/en/ca-enterprise-software/business-management/ca-service-management/17-3/installing/installing-ca-service-management-17-3/installing-ca-service-desk-manager.html - Section 10, c.
Is this correct or a relict in documentation from older versions ?
kind regards,
Armin
