Install the Mobile API Gateway · Software

Hi CA Community,

 

I have a question about the installation of the Mobile API Gateway.

In my installation, I have two servers : one in LAN where the database is and one in DMZ where I want the Mobile API Gateway to be installed.

I installed a CA API Gateway on both server for now.

 

But where do I have to install the OAuth Solution Kit ? Only on the server where I want the MAG or also on the server in LAN ?

Hello Chovine,

 

So for your scenario you would want to install the OAuth solution kit it on both the LAN and DMZ; the "multiple gateway scenario".

As you'll see in this documentation, you'll be installing different 'Solution Kit Components' depending on which specific server you're on (LAN or DMZ) but you will be installing it on both.
